Sarah Wilkes

I was drawn to healing and holistic therapies from an early age and I'm passionate about all aspects of health and well-being.

I began practising Reiki in 2004 and have since earned qualifications in a number of other complementary therapies including Body Massage, Usui/Karuna® Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Magnified Healing, Metamorphic Technique, The M Technique®, Reflexology, Auricular Acupuncture, NLP and Clinical Hypnotherapy. I am also a qualified FAHE Teacher and Assessor.

As well as treating individual clients, I currently work for a well known northern cancer charity providing treatments in various NHS locations. Through my experience in complementary therapies, customer service, teaching practice and a variety of voluntary work, I have developed a broad range of skills, knowledge and understanding. I am dedicated and committed to delivering my best, especially in my therapy clinics. I’ve gained a lot of experience working with clients who have or had cancer, disabilities, emotional or behavioural conditions. I am professional and adaptable which enables me to work in challenging situations and sensitive surroundings such as hospitals, oncology day units, day hospices, drop-in centres, and young person’s care homes.

Through my work, I have seen these soothing, transformative treatments bring a sense of calm, happiness and overall balance into many people’s lives, including my own. Therapies are extremely beneficial and can support a person on many different levels. Treatments can have an immediate effect or be gentle and subtle. Relaxation and body system support is wonderful for the body, mind and spirit, and should be available to everyone. I have seen great results from complementary therapies and received very positive feedback about my treatments. I’m lucky enough to not class what I do as work, but rather a privilege and I hope to continue supporting and learning for many years to come. My therapies help people to achieve their goals of well-being in a safe and comfortable way.
